The best way to get Amazon to sell ePub is to not use any of the Kindle apps or buy any Kindle hardware. Every time you buy an ePub eBook, email Amazon and tell them. If enough people do this and Amazon sales of Kindle hardware and eBooks tank, then Amazon may take notice why.
