So I have a VERY low-tech answer for you that's worked well for me: A ziploc bag!
There is print on one side, but there isn't on the other. I put my PRS-650 in the ziploc bag, then suck all the air out of it so it fits really snug. This doesn't usually trigger the touch screen, though I also can't use the touch screen, so you have to open the book you are going to read and then use the hardware buttons to advance the page.
In my opinion, being able to read in a tub like this is a huge advantage over regular printed books, which (as I know from sad personal experience) don't do well if they get dropped in the tub.
