Not sure. I'm pretty sure I've tried that, but I'll look into it after work tonight. Let me ask you this; is there a way to select a wallpaper WITHOUT having the Nook force you to drag a smaller selection area of the jpg file that it eventually uses for the wallpaper size?
I'm confused as to why I save a 1024x600 wallpaper jpg, but then have to select a smaller area during the wallpaper selection on the Nook. I know that the native res of the Nook is actually 854x480, and it upscaled to 1024x600, so perhaps it has to do with that?
Maybe I can test a jpg image at the 854x480 res and see if the Nook will just take it at that size without forcing a smaller selection area.
