According to
http://www.mobread.com/bbs/viewthrea...extra=page%3D1 (which I translated via Google, & helpfully double-checked by my partner!), Hanlin is basically waiting till there is enough demand in the market before considering releasing the V9.
After all, there's no point in releasing a very expensive device in China if no-one's going to buy it.
