Ultimately, ease of use transcends the media. An eReader is lighter, easier to hold (a real one-hander), eliminates the need to keep up with your bookmarker, and has a built-in dictionary for those of us who are vocabulary-challenged and don't want to get up to find one. Slightly lower book prices is a bonus. Unless you still need to fill holes in your bookcases, what's not to like?
