Mmmm... I certainly not a pro in electronic, but 0°C is not that cold, and I don't see my other electronic device (mobile, laptop) reacting that way. Batteries drain faster in low temperatures if I'm correct, but again, I don't see what it has to do with the device reacting slower. The fact that I had not mentioned is that the page turn was also slower, I mean the whole process of displaying the new page was slower.

I had a heavy coat and gloves but I have to say, after an hour and a half or so, the cold was so strong I couldn't just sit and read anymore, I had to walk a bit to warm me up.
