This morning I thought I'd try to update my Kobo before v. 1.8 is available in Australia - it's an original, running firmware v.1.4.
Fired up the Borders desktop and it downloaded v.1.7, so I connected the Kobo and tried to update it.
I'm kicking myself now though, because now
none of my books will load! They are all displayed but when I click on a title, the Kobo flashes briefly and then nothing happens.
I have tried a safety pin reset, connecting and reconnecting, resyncing to the Borders desktop - nothing seems to work!
And to think I had been happily avoiding the desktop and just using Calibre and ADE until now.
Any suggestions, please? At the moment my Kobo is useless!
