I don't own one, but I can see where having an attached light at your fingertips that needs no batteries (it is powered from the rechargeable Kindle battery) would be big selling point.

For me the soft felt on the inside of the Oberoncover feels really good. It buffers the glasscreen of my Kindle sufficiently, I feel.
Though I'm always finicky with my electronic things: I let the Kindle fall out of my hands once and I was lucky it wasn't broken. I just can happen and if you've got a sturdy cover, Oberon or another one, it helps.
In the little pocket on the inside flap of the cover, I have always a small business-card (plastified and cut to size)with things like registrationnr Kindle and such (for when he's defective). On the back of the Kindle a sticker with another bussinesscard.

And here's the good news: I received an e-mail a couple of days ago. UPS has my Oberon iPad cover and it's on it's way. The estimated arrival is the 20th. A bit longer than I've come to expect from UPS, but I suppose that's because of the Christmas rush.

For the iPad: I like the cover being folded back and then the iPad gets slightly elevated, when reading in land-scape. (at an angel of ca. 11 degrees)

That must be heavenly.
