Thank you pchrist7 & RexGalore.
It seems if I mess with the words per line, it defaults back to 40. I like it at 10, it's perfect. It's showing nearly 2x the text per screen than my old eReader.

EDIT: Anything else I should know? How to turn of the screensaver?
