Finished A Scream of Angels the second book in the Templar series I started by Joe Nassise. This one wasn't as good as the first, but it was a very decent read--3 to 3.5 stars. It's a page-turner, full of action, but lacked the plot depth and complexity of the first book. The character had done some "research" that was off-screen that supplied some of the answers, whereas in the first, we watched the character learn stuff about the enemy. Just a different technique and for me, not as enjoyable as the doling out of info as I read along. Still, it was a good book and I was already invested in the characters so no way was I going to put it down until I knew what happened...reading on a boring plane--worrying that my battery might run out before I arrived! Nothing like getting cut off in the middle of a good book!
