I am SO out of sorts this morning. Right after I woke up this morning, but before I got out of bed (about 6:30 a.m.), I heard a distinct chiming alarm sound that repeated twice, seemingly right there in my bedroom. It scared me and I jumped out of bed -- and I cannot find where it came from! Not the cell phone, not the regular phone, not the doorbell, not the smoke alarm. I haven't bought any new electronics lately. WHAT WAS IT? WHAT DOES IT MEAN??
could something be alerting you that its charge is wearing off? I damn near tore my room apart once when I went through a similar thing... unfamiliar chime... I was out of town on a government contract and managed to work myself into such a paranoid state that I was convinced something had been planted in my room. boy was I embarrassed when I discovered it was just my cell phone. at least I hadn't told anyone!

I know it is bad when I am excited that the puppy, Caya, figured out that when she wakes up if we are both in bed she needs to go back to her bed and not lick us until we wake up. She is a good puppy but wants to start the day a good 30 - 45 minutes before I want to start the day. Normally the persistant licking combined with a low whine is enough to get me out of bed.
I completely get it about puppies that have their own internal clock. I always worry a little/feel guilty that maybe she really does have to go and maybe I am being a little selfish
