Once more... eInk only uses power to change a page... if it has discharged with a page showing then it will keep showing that page as there's no power to change it and the battery bar is thus meaningless at this point as it's only a picture until powered... try plugging into an external PSU or use your computer... charge overnight and (if using computer) ensure it is set NOT to sleep or hibernate...
