But with geo-restrictions, I'm wondering if I could gift an eBook to someone who could not buy it him/herself due to geo-restrictions. If I can, then that is one reason gifting could be better then gift cards. Also, it would be a way for people to legally purchase eBooks that they could not otherwise purchase. Just find someone to gift the eBook and voila.
