Thanks for useful information! It is probably not for me then. I could compromise the battery life for the convenience of a lighted cover, price is not a big issue either but the uneven light would really bug me. Sorry for deteriorating from the original topic... but if anybody knew of more even light for Kindle, could you please mention it
