That's what the forum is for, ask away! I ask tons of questions.

As far as I know (and I convert to mobi all the time since I use it for my phone), as long as the epub is DRM free, you can convert it to mobi. If you use Calibre it is super easy and takes hardly any time.

Did you mention where you live? That might be a determining factor as well.
