Alt="" (empty string) is not a good HTML practice.
The Alt tag is used by Accessibility compliant" devices in lieu of pictures.
you should describe the image called "Book cover", "M" (for a Initial Capital "M" image" ...
I believe Flightcrew squawks about these tags Missing
