"Team of Rivals" is definitely a good one, as it also provides a lot of information on his cabinet members, many of whom were political rivals.

One of the Lincoln biographies I read had an unusual focus, which is clear from its title. It's called "Lincoln: The Biography of a Writer" by Fred Kaplan. I'd recommend you keep your dictionary handy for this one, as it seems to be written more for the academic environment than for the general populace.

Enjoy!
