I still can't figure out why you
do need to know the time to read Overdrive eBooks, when Overdrive's eAudiobooks have no such requirement.
Why not use the same check-on-sync technology for both?
Guess maybe a concerted nag-Overdrive-staff campaign may be in order... Not only do they need to be nagged into a better implementation method for DRM on their files, they also need to be nagged into explicitly supporting ebook readers, including the Sony Reader as well as the Cybook. Hate to say it, but the word "Kindle" may need to be thrown around too...
