For me, it was simply a matter of "what's available in Canada? (circa 2008). The Sony PRS-505 was. Everything elso was not. Sony got me then, and I've continued to like the Sony PRS units since. Once I get into a nice rut, it will take something magical for me to move to another device where I'll have to relearn everything all over again.
