It is just miserably cold here, too. I went out for a little while -- just over to my mom's to fix/have some lunch -- but I'm back home. The wind is blowing so hard I just can't keep it warm enough in here, even with the heat running almost constantly. I don't mind the cold so much, but the cold combined with the wind is just too much and makes me complain a lot!
Edit: We're probably at our high temperature for the day right now, and it's only 27 F. We got this public information statement:
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening
for all north and central Georgia. West to northwest winds will continue today 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. The winds will subside this evening. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least 20 mph... or gusts over 35 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Winds may be strong enough this evening through Monday afternoon to result in some downed trees... power lines... and scattered power outages.
