I guess I'm lucky, because I just don't care about cliffhangers. I can stop reading a book (or watching a movie) at any time, if I'm not enjoying it, and never even wonder for a minute what happens next. I didn't even notice the cliffhangers in the 10 pages of the Da Vinci Code I read
