My current "go to" eBook Reader is the BeBook Mini. I love it's small size and ability to read my liberated Mobipocket eBooks as well as any new ePubs that I might want to buy. Any new eBook Reader I get would have to be able to read both formats with ease since some of my Diana Gabaldon Mobipocket eBooks are happy to be liberated by refuse to convert to ePub. I don't mind paying for eBooks when I already have the paper book, but prefer not to buy more than 1 version of an eBook.
I am really tempted by PocketBook 360, especially the customing that is possible and the ability to look up words in a dictionary. I love the look of the 360 as well, they have done a great job designing the case.
Reasons for getting a PocketBook 360
- I really miss the dictionary I had on the Cybook I accidentally drowned. (It`s not been able to remember where I left off or save a book mark since it went for it`s 10 second swim in the tub.)
- I like the idea of an integrated hard cover to protect the screen
- I love the idea of being able to customize the buttons to do just what I want them to do
- It's been a while since I've gotten a new reader and I need a new toy

- It's on sale right now
Reasons for not getting a PocketBook 360
- the BeBook Mini is capable of reading all the books I want it to
- I'm not sure if the extra features are enough to justify the cost
- I'm not sure where I would clip a book light for night time reading while hubby sleeps
- I'm worried that the eBook Reader might get damaged if accidentally dropped on an edge or side, these would be protected by a leather cover on the BeBook
Please help me decide what to do! Should I get the PocketBook 360, or stick with the BeBook Mini, or is there another eBook Reader that would meet my requirements that I haven't considered.
Thanks!
