Just to clarify for anyone coming into this thread late (and with absolutely no offense meant to jswinden): The NC will work with a standard microUSB cable for hooking up to a PC or slow charging from the PC.

It's the included quick-charger with the light-up "N" that uses a variation on the micro USB plug.
