I still haven't adjusted to my Sony PRS-950 or PRS-350 with their IR enabled touch screens. The 350 I don't have much of a problem because it is so small and light i hold it far away from my body. But the 950 I usually hold in landscape position resting on my belly. Occasionaly a fold/wrinkle in my shirt (if its a loose fitting shirt) will innadvertently activate the touchscreen. Once when reading outside, a small piece of debris floating in the wind also managed to activate a page turn.

As far the NC, I've noticed that I cannot place my finger on the screen then swipe or the page won't turn but the popup menu across the bottom will be displayed. So for me it is a learning curve to get the finger gestures correct--no humor intended, but make your own joke if you want to. All the other Android tablets I've used did not have sensitive touch screens--I always had to press hard then wait for a delayed reaction to occur. So kudos to B&N for making a usable touch screen Android tablet!
