Infused with flavor. So the fruit flavor in most teas comes from fruit bits but also an infusion process so that the flavor some how gets into the tea leaves itself. I have no clue how any of this happens but I believe it is similar to flavoring coffee.

Technically we are steeping the tea but the baskets are called infuser baskets and I have no idea why.
