My, oh my, what a beautiful day!
I really like oversleeping in winter, and waking up when the sun is shining!
I'll start another day with a big mug of Royal Breakfast tea, compliments of the East India Company, just to get my taste buds going. This, with a bowl of sweetened popcorn with milk. (A native American breakfast!)

I haven't, but will look for it. I thought that video was quite interesting. Besides cross-cultural studies, I have a strong interest and background in science and medicine, so love to see how it is handled in other countries.

Do either of you know of the books of Robert van Gulik, a Dutch scientist and writer, who wrote about Judge Dee? It is about a Chinese judge and describes the court of law and criminal investigation in ancient China. Very well written. If ever you see one, buy it and read. Worth while

I haven't seen that book, but there used to be a weekly 'Samurai Drama' (the Japanese equivalent of a soap opera set in ancient times) on TV that was based on his life. It was one of the few local TV programs that I could really enjoy!
