I think that the person I am because I'm a big reader made me more attractive to my beau. He has a degree in film, so movies have always been his passion but he'll read when he needs to. Ironically, he's a much faster reader than I am. Unlike myself, he has no problem sitting down and reading a thick manual from beginning till end, but gets bored reading a novel.
Knowing how much enjoyment I get from reading, he encourages my habit when he can. When the Sony PRS 600 came out, he said he'd buy it for me because he had been thinking of buying me a present, but didn't know what to get. A few days ago, I told him that I was thinking about getting the Kno, but was trying to justify the large purchase. After seeing how enthusiastic I was about it, he said he'd buy it as my Xmas present. I was surprised because I had just picked up a new Sony 650 the week before. He said he was so proud of me for going back to school and felt that anything that would help me with my school work was well worth the investment.
