but under content.opf theres:
<dc:title>Lifehacker [Fri, 10 Dec 2010]</dc:title>
<meta name="cover" content="id169"/>
<dc:date>2010-12-11T01:44:58.139103+00:00</dc:date>
Could that have anything to do with it? I cant find anything else relative to date inside the epubs..
