The right of eBooks is not held by a single publisher. In some countries it might be one publisher, in another country a completely different publisher.
For a canadian customer, he could find the same title-that is not available in amazon.ca due to Geo restriction- in other stores ! and others store means ePub format!
You should read a little bit about Geo Restriction .
Yeah EPub format is the greatest solution to overcome Geo restriction
PS : Kindle amazon is not a good solution to anyone who lives outside USA.
