When I go to my library's site, I only see the option to put the book on hold. Do I need to wait for someone to "return" it in order to download it? I assumed online would be instantly available. Am I missing something?
Your library purchases a copy of the book just like you would so they don't have unlimited copies to distribute even though it's digital media. If you click on the books detailed information page, it should tell you how many copies the library has, how many are available and how many others are waiting in line. You can put the book on hold, and then they will send you an email when it is available. If you want to try a book immediately, then you need to find one that says "Add to Digital BookBag". Have fun now that you have discovered free books from the library. I am currently reading a library book on my Nook Color too!
