Well, I don't have a rooted NC (but I have used the Overdrive app successfully on my iPhone) so here are a few suggestions. The library files have DRM-encryption. Have you authorized your NC to an ADE account? When I use applications on my iPhone that are linked to ADE, I have to authorize each app separately to my Adobe account (rather than authorizing the iPhone as a device once). Maybe the Overdrive Android app is looking for something similar. Did it prompt you to log-in with your Adobe account info? Is there a setting for authorization anywhere?
