The nook is a B&N product and therefor can read the B&N DRM ebooks and as I have been told it can read PDF and epub. With the Nook you can not buy ebooks from Amazon, Sony, and Borders as the nook does not have the keys for those formats. You can however buy from Desiel and Kobo Books.
