I'm the designated Amazon orderer for my family, too. But it's become so much easier now that Amazon gift cards are available in any corner drugstore in $25 and $50 increments. This year the relatives just tell me what to order, along with giving me enough gift cards to cover the cost. I apply the gift cards, place the orders, and the change left over stays in my account. Win-Win! Merry Christmas!
Fab idea, love it! Maybe one day we'll get this in the UK? Amazon don't sell gift cards in stores here - not that I'm aware of any way.

I should try charging a handling fee - 10% sounds pretty reasonable to me.
