The changes appear to be in the Reader Store. The improvements are nice. Minor incremental changes, not big leaps, I'd say. Here's what I've noticed so far.
1) They appear to have focused on better book descriptions. If you place your mouse over a book cover, then it will bring up an info box with the book summary, category, price, rating, etc. That feature reminds me of the Kobo website. I like it! Now I don't have to click all the way to the book detailed page for a quick summary of what the book is about.
2) I have always found Sony's rating/review system to be a disappointment because people just don't use it. They now have a link to goodreads on each book page.
3) Have they always had facebook and twitter links? I think they may have, but I can't remember.
4) Google Books and Library Finder are no longer prominently displayed on the home page. They are now in the Featured Links in the left column.
5) They have a nice Reader marketing page now. Links to support, tips and tricks, Google Books, Library Finder, accessories, how does it work, etc. When you click "Get Your Reader Now" it launches the sonystyle website.
