Pogue is surely missing some important points - E-ink = low battery usage, E-ink = kinder to eyes than backlit screens. And maybe they can't see much sunlight in all that NY smog,
but living in a place with lots of sunshine I'll bet my E-ink reader copes with outdoor reading conditions a lot better!
