I was just to point you to the PRS+ beta-test feature.

If PRS+ code is present on SD-Card in a place specified in kconfig.xml [prspBetaStartupFile], PRS+ will start from the card and not out of the firmware.

Unfortunately I can't extract the PRS+600 Base image. (Error: superblock magic not found) and kconfig.xml for the 600 isn't included in the repository, so you have to find out on your own.
