That's what I keep telling my boyfriend, who works out a lot (luckily he's not a bodybuilder, but still). He doesn't care. I do.
To answer the OP's question: I try to run on a regular basis, although I find it hard to keep this up during the winter. I fell a couple of winters ago and sustained an injury that kept me from running for almost 4 weeks. I don't really think in terms of distance, but time. I try to run at least 45 minutes every other day. Sometimes I run every day, sometimes I don't run for a whole week.
