The general rule of thumb while trying to gain muscle is 1-2 grams per lb. This is why you see body builders eating a dozen eggs or 5-6 chicken breasts.

Do you still work on gaining muscles?
Once upon a time, some 20+ years ago I was a huge fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. His huge pictures dominated my room's walls along with Silvester Stallone and life sizes girls w/out much on them

I have seen a few guys with leg muscles that looked unrealistic and wanted to have the same, so girl will love me

Girls love well-built boys, don't they?
However, as I grew up I realised that sooner or later, there will be a moment in my life when I cannot do it because of health problems, career, age etc. When I stop, all the muscles will turn into huge slabs of fat. Sure, professionals who have made tons of money on it can allow for this because then they don't have to wake up every day at 6 am to go to work, so they can slowly
unbuild their bodies, although I am not sure whether it works 100%. A classmate who had such a body at some point stopped body-building completely and resorted to some martial arts. He told me, that the healthiest way to train your muscles is by using your body mass only. I didn't believe him.
Then, one day, I have met a kung-fu master, who was trained by Shaolin monk in third or forth generation, don't remember now. He lived, learned and trained there for 3 or 4 years. He managed to convince me that what my classmate told me was true.
Since then, what I have seen only proved this point of view. Only young guys can do it. Build incredible muscle mass, tax their liver by eating supplements and enjoy life. Only slim people, who have muscles like wires are the real survivors.
Omg. What am I talking about?

Forget.
Sorry about it.
