Second time reading through it, to be honest. I think it is my favorite book of the year. I didn't expected it to be so good, but it turned out to be exactly the kind of story I love.

It is almost amazing how often some old piece of tech will come in handy. I have family and friends call me up all the time asking if I have something-or-other that they need. Old power-bricks seem to be especially handy. Rather than pay another 30 bucks to get one for a new toy, I usually just go through my boxes of them and find one that works perfectly.
