I think you make a good point here. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who will read through a person's past posts (nice alliteration
) to see... well, I don't know, to see if I LIKE them. To see if I like how they respond to others, and what types of conversations they tend to take part in, and to see if their sense of humor appeals to my sense of humor. A frequent poster will usually show his/her true colors eventually.
