After reading content on the Nook Color for extended periods, I found that the device takes the concept of an e-reader to another level. The NookColor's display and its intuitive interface form an extraordinary one-two punch. The display employs an in-plane switching (IPS) panel, just as the iPad does, to provide a wider viewing angle and better colour reproduction than standard TN LCDs. And like the iPad, it supports 16 million colours

Sure, I'm biased. I like the E Ink Vizplex Pearl display very much, so naturally I find anything that mentions glare rather off-putting. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading about how users - not just reviewers - get on with reading using the Nook Color. Certainly the aspect of colour is appealing and I can see the attraction for anyone who wants an e-reader for comics.
