How do you define affordable? What do you mean by tablet? The Sony PRS-950 has a 7" screen, if that's your idea of a tablet.
With my Sony PRS-650, I just double-tap on a word to look it up in the dictionary. The dictionary entry is displayed immediately. There are two English dictionaries:
  • New Oxford American Dictionary
  • Oxford Dictionary of English
There are also ten bilingual dictionaries, including English/French and French/English.
