If you have an Intel Mac running 10.5 or better, Kindle Previewer for Mac will simulate what your book will look like on a variety of Kindle models. I've found it's very close to my K2, with only the occasional quirk.

Unfortunately, none of the official Mobipocket software will run on a Mac via Wine.
