I just received a Kindle 3, and I'm trying to get my ebooks organized. I've noticed something strange and annoying. If I sort by author (whether in a collection or for all books), the titles are not sorted in any order that I can determine.

Is it possible to sort alphabetically by the author's last name, and then by the title for multiple books by the same author? Or did someone at Amazon decide that this makes too much sense and must be forbidden?
