Well, Walmart came through for me and my wife with the Best Buy Black Friday $99 Nook wifi. I wasn't about to wait in line for one, but my wife remembered about 2pm that Walmart said they would price match any competitor's Black Friday sale price. I thought by that time the sale was over at Best Buy, but checked online and found out that it was good all day. I then confirmed a Walmart press release that they were indeed honoring Black Friday ads from their competitors.

The next step was checking store availability at local Walmart stores for the Nook wifi. I found a local store that had several in stock and my wife was off to purchase two for $99 each. The only thing the manager at Walmart did was call the local Best Buy and confirm that the $99 price was good all day. Once confirmed, my wife purchased both for $99 each rather than the Walmart retail of $148 each. As this was after 2pm, there were no lines and she was in and out in under 10 minutes.

Perhaps it was to our advantage that most Walmart workers couldn't tell you the difference between an ereader and mp3 player! They may had been out of stock otherwise.
