Last night I finished the first book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Lightning Thief, by Rick Riordan. I really liked it and I've already planned in the second book in my next 10 to be read books. Some things were a bit predictable but overall it was really good and original. It also made me interested in mythology so I have to see if I can find any good books on that topic.
I started with the seventh book in the Pendergast series, The Book of the Dead, which is also the final book in the Diogenes series. Hopefully it's as good or better than the two other books in the trilogy, those I like best in the Pendergast series from what I've read up to now.
