I know people have been confused in the past on seeing the Viziplex logo when first setting up the Sony Reader or looking at the Reader's About screen. Threads have been posted previously in these forums about this. I guess some people are seeing that logo and are getting confused.
(Viziplex is the technology. Pearl is only a trademarked name for the latest iteration of that technology. Or something. I don't quite remember clearly, but it's been discussed before.)
Also, caribbean_spur: that Best Buy salesman is an idiot. I'm sure you knew that, however. Just a pity he's spreading the wrong information though.
