One consideration for making space on the Kindle (if it ever gets tight) is that the books you get from Amazon can be deleted from the Kindle but still remain in your Amazon account. I haven't had the occasion to delete any Amazon titles, so I don't know how those deleted books are shown to you, like whether they go to the Kindle's "Archived Items" list or not.

Holler if you want to know exactly how it works, and I can try it.

With no audiobooks, I currently have
2.361 GB of space remaining, with
- 336 ebooks and magazines and newspapers,
- 19 newspaper back issues
Plus 102 archived items (ebooks not on the Kindle, but rather on Amazon that I can pull down at will).
