I have over 150 books on my NookClassic and only owned it 6 months. I have a selection of SD cards for my NOOKColor since I have movies, mp3s, etc for it depending on mood and use. It also has the same ~150 books on it. The number keeps increasing, I bought 2 more books yesterday.

If I had to store my mp3s on the NOOKColor directly I would want more than the 5GB I have available on the device itself. But I put them on my 8GB SD cards and don't worry about it.

Just my use cases.
