Let me assure, you I"m not a troll, but a hardworking, paying consumer. I felt at first as you, that Kobo was a nice easy, simple reading device........until.... I realized it was way overpriced, had the slowest page turns I'd ever seen, had a TERRIBLE battery life, and finally started freezing when it chose to.
Further, my experiences on returning it two days before the one month take back day came, were horrendous. I was forced to stand at Borders and make it fail, before they would issue my refund(cash) and only then because they wanted rid of me.
I still buy alot of novels from Kobo books and hope they come up with an updated product, I stand my opinion, that Kobo is pretty lame and alot of us relay these experiences to warn others. The whole thing with Borders and no outright refund is awful and people should know before they purchase.
I'm glad you are happy with your device, life is always nicer when our toys work. It's not just a question of money either. My inexpensive, Jetbook is still my "fave" and it never leaves my handbag..
